Hello World! Have you ever experienced forgetting something once in your life? Well, everybody frequently does that. And on the day of FLL (First Lego League), not much will be provided except pencils or paper, so you must be prepared. If you forget something, here’s what to do.
If your item is something small:
- pencil/pen; ask politely if your teammates have any. They should, but if not, then ask your referee or anyone who is in charge for one.
- notebook/paper; in this case, drawing/sketching or planning in a notebook is superior for FLL. If you do not have a notebook, or at least some paper, please ask your teammates for some.
- charger; If you have forgotten your charger at home, it is best to double check your bag if you have a spare, or if not then check your robot’s battery. If it’s above 85-90%, then you can run it once on the practice fields. 100% definitely but I don’t recommend using it to practice if it’s below 75-70% as it will gradually become slower.
- electronic; You’ll need a computer for coding practice for robot games, a phone*/iPad for planning, or you can use your coaches/parents. Referees most likely aren’t going to provide anything, so triple check that you have everything. *please note that if you use a mobile device it is for important use only.
